Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, MOCPED, Noforija, Epe in Lagos, in affiliation with the University of Ibadan, on Wednesday, held a matriculation for 352 new intakes.
The event was held in Epe, Lagos State.
Speaking at the occasion, the Provost of the College, Associate Professor, Nosiru Olajide Onibon, spoke about the excellence for which he said MOCPED was noted.

He said the excellence of the school had been well displayed in different competitions, including debates, the school had participated in on different occasions.
One of such, he said was the debate organised by the National Association of Students of English Language, NASEL, for the students of English Language in South West Universities in Nigeria.
“UI/MOCPED student came first in the debate,” Onibon said.
He also pointed out that the college had had a smooth academic calendar without any hitch apart from the one created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said even then, the college engaged students in e-learning to ensure that their time was not wasted.
“All these were possible because the college is well equipped with relevant Information Communication Technologies,” Onibon said.
The provost added that the college had a well equipped ICT centre to cater for relevant needs of students and staff.
Warning the new students against indecent activities, the provost said that MOCPED had zero tolerance for cultism, hooliganism and corruption.
