Today marks a glorious day in the life of Mrs. Olanubi Janet Abosede, her family, friends and well wishers, as she bows out of service meritoriously.
In a surprise move, the founder of FABE International Foundation, Mrs. Temitope Okunnu, stormed the venue of the event, Army Children Junior High School field, Epe.
The retiring principal was also presented with Masquerade tree seedlings and Guava fruit tree to commemorate her successful exit from service. The trees were planted amid cheers and prayers in the school premises and the school's Eco garden respectively.
Reacting to the gesture, Mrs. Olanubi said:
" I am amazed and overwhelmed at this kind gesture from the founder of FABE International, Mrs. Temitope Okunnnu. It is my prayers that she shall be greater than the greatest".
She however admonished the school's Eco Ambassadors to nurture the trees to a robust growth.
Mrs. Okunnu who could not wait to witness the end of the programme as she had a Beach Clean Up exercise at Elegushi beach also expressed delight at rejoicing with the retired Director. She said:
" I am highly excited to celeberate this glorious day with a darling Eco Ambassador and Principal. I felt it would be nice to present her with some nice gifts and I am glad I did. I wish her a happy and successful retirement", Mrs. Okunnu said.
