A proper definition of the proverbial "he who the cap fits, let him wear it " best describes the resolve of an Nigeria Ghana Achievement Award organizers to honour Epe Federal Constituency House of Representatives Member, Hon. Wale Raji.
The well deserved honor which is meant to appreciate the landmark leadership achievements and quality representation of Hon. Wale Raji, came in form of an award presented to the HOR member when he recently stormed his hometown, Epe, to flag off Blocks of Classroom and ICT centers in some schools.
According to a statement issued by Lagos Focus convener, Comrade Fagbodun Oluwadamilare, it was gathered that after being nominated by Lagos Focus, the award was meant to be presented in Ghana to commemorate Nigeria at 60 at the 2020 edition of Ghana Nigeria Achievement Awards. Unfortunately,
Hon Tasir Olawale Raji, who also doubles as the Chairman House Services, putting him in charge of the 360 Federal Lawmakers in the Nigeria Federal House of Representatives, was unavoidably absent.
" In commemoration of the Nigeria at 60, Lagos Focus nominated Hon Wale Raji and some other prominent dignitaries who are members of this noble platform as Awardees for the 2020 Edition of Ghana Nigeria Achievers Award which was held at Mikado event centre Labone junction Accra Ghana on 3rd of October 2020. Hon. Wale Raji was unavoidably absent from the event in Ghana.
" To God be the glory we brought the Award to Nigeria and met him few days back to present the Award to him in Epe while he came around for the Ground breaking flag off of block of classrooms and VIP toilets in 5 schools within Epe federal constituency. These includes Army, Odomola, Agbowa, Oriba and Epe Girls schools.
This is to appreciate him for his effective and quality representation of his good people from Epe.

Hon. Wale Raji was a former Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture. His sterling performance in office was unprecedent and therefore catapulted him into politics. He is the current Chairman, Lagos Caucus of the House of Representatives Lawmakers.
