The provision of affordable, safe and constant power supply is one of the basic amenties provided for a society and its people to function by the government.
It is however no news that Epe has since donkey years been saddled with the responsibility of finding lasting solutions to poor and epileptic power supply.
In recent times, there seem to be flashes and rays of hope as the supply witnessed a little bit of stability via rotation.
Unfortunately, the supply has hit another low as there has been total blackout in these past days.
The reason for the blackout has however been discovered. It was reported that an electric pole had fallen along the popular Epe-Ito-Ikin road. The cause of the fallen pole may have been as a result of an accident or natural phenomenon.
The blackout will no doubt dash the hopes of residents who have been enjoying the fair stability recently.
It was however gathered that IKEDC officials have been making frantic efforts to fix the pole and restore power supply swftly.
